National Junior Honor Society 

The most established of all the organizations within T.H. Bell Jr. High is the National Jr. Honor Society (NJHS).  Joining this group is your opportunity to develop the habits and standards so important to success in the future. Notable events are the induction ceremonies, and a field trip every year available to members. 

This is a leadership and scholarship organization which is based on 5 pillars:

• Scholarship
  3.7 GPA | No "N's" or "U's"
• Service
  This involves voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation.
• Leadership
  Student leaders are those who are resourceful, and idea contributors.
• Character
  The student of good character demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; is courteous, and shows concern and respect for others.
• Citizenship
  The student who demonstrates citizenship has a high regard for freedom and justice; respects democracy; respects the laws that have been written for all citizens.
