Latinos in Action is not a club, but a class within the school.  As a group within the school, it exists as a seperate class empower Latino youth to lead and strengthen our community through college and career readiness. This is accomplished by focusing on four pillars: leveraging personal and cultural assets, excelling in education, serving the community, and developing leadership skills. LIA students engage in three evidenced-based, core components during class time: College and Career Readiness Curriculum, leadership development, and literacy tutoring. Mrs. Sears is the advisor.
