Action in the 2018 Semi-Final Game - Minutemen vs the Spartans.

T.H. Bell Boys Basketball Team will Play for the District Championship!

2/6/18 -  Washington Terrace - The Minutemen of T.H. Bell took on the South Spartans in a WSD semi-final game Tuesday.  The game started out with the Minutemen taking an early lead  of 12 - 0 and never looking back.   Mason Koopmans scored 8 of those early points. South worked all game to get back in it; but

Bell's great team defense and steady scoring kept South always playing the game from behind.  Each Bell player contributed; and it was a total team effort. A highlight of the game was the play of Carson Jones who had a double-double with his offensive rebounds and adding 29 points to Bell's total score.  The final  was T.H. Bell 60 and South 48.

The Championship game will be this Friday against Orion Junior High.  The Minutemen beat Orion by 1 point in the regular season; and will be looking to play Bell and steal the final game of the season.   The Championship game will be at Weber High this Friday at 3:30.  Busses will be available for a limited number of T.H. Bell students to take to the Weber High campus from T.H. Bell Jr. High to watch the game. Come support your team Minutemen!  The cost to get into the game for students is $1.00.  The school year 2000 -2001 was the last year the Bell won the Weber School District Title.

2/9/18  Pleasant View -  The scores tell it all.  These teams were pretty evenly matched, and this game was about defense.  The score at the end of the half in the championship game Friday was tied at 11 all, and by the end of the 3rd quarter it was still tied at 19 all. It was fitting that at the end of regulation the score would be tied at 28 each.  It came down to the final plays of the game in overtime, and unfortunately Bell season ended on a sour note.  The young men representated our school in fine fashion all year, and we are proud of our team!
